Where our products are made, how they are tested, what is in them and what is not, and how we write about the research. The details this category usually keeps vague, set out plainly enough to be useful.

The standard, in one paragraph

CELLSHE products are manufactured in the United States using globally sourced ingredients, in GMP-certified, FDA-registered facilities. They are third-party tested in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories, and we publish the Certificate of Analysis. Manufacturing

Where our products are made

Every CELLSHE product is manufactured in the United States using globally sourced ingredients, in facilities that are GMP-certified and FDA-registered.

Globally sourced, deliberately Ingredients come from a global supply chain, because the strongest source for a given compound is not always the closest one. We select on quality rather than on the lowest landed cost, then bring it to the United States.
Manufactured and shipped in the U.S. Once sourced, every ingredient is formulated, encapsulated, packaged and shipped from U.S.-based facilities operating under American regulatory oversight.
One product goes further Resveratrol 600 is additionally manufactured in an NSF-certified facility, an independent standard beyond the FDA baseline. This applies to that product specifically, and we do not stretch it to cover the others.

One thing worth being precise about. FDA registration applies to the facility, not to the product. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold, ours included. Any brand implying otherwise is telling you something that is not true, and we would rather explain the distinction than borrow the authority. What "FDA approved" actually means covers this properly.

What the labels mean

Certifications, decoded

Four terms get used loosely across this category. Here is what each one actually certifies, and what it does not.

GMP-certified Good Manufacturing Practices, the FDA's quality standard for supplement production. Covers facility cleanliness, ingredient documentation, batch records and quality control. Required by U.S. law, though how strictly it is applied varies between facilities.
FDA-registered facility The manufacturing facility is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and subject to inspection. It does not mean the FDA has approved, endorsed or evaluated the product. It never does, for any supplement.
ISO/IEC 17025 accredited The international standard for testing laboratories. A lab holding it has been audited by an independent body to confirm its methods produce reliable, reproducible results. Not every supplement testing lab has it. We treat it as the floor, not the ceiling.
NSF-certified facility NSF International is an independent organisation certifying products and facilities to public health standards. Our Resveratrol 600 is manufactured in an NSF-certified facility. This is a facility certification, and it applies to that product.

Testing

Tested by a laboratory that does not work for the manufacturer

Third-party means the lab analysing the product is independent of the company making it. That independence is the entire point: it removes the conflict of interest from quality verification. It also costs money and adds time, which is why plenty of brands skip it and describe themselves as "tested" anyway.

Our products are tested by laboratories holding ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, the international standard for laboratory competence, and we publish the resulting Certificate of Analysis rather than describing it.

Why we bother saying all this. Independent peer-reviewed testing of NMN supplements bought online and in pharmacies found measured content deviating substantially from the labelled amount, in both directions. We do not name the products that were tested. We publish our own testing position instead, and answer questions about it. What we leave out

Just as deliberate as what goes in

All three products use a vegetable capsule and contain no animal-derived ingredients. Beyond that, this is the standard we formulate to. Formulations differ from one product to the next, so the exact list for a given product is set out on its own product page and printed on its Supplement Facts panel.

No proprietary blends A proprietary blend lets a brand list impressive ingredients without saying how much of each is in there. We do not use them, in any product. Every active is named with its own amount.
Every amount, printed You can read exactly how much of each active is in a serving before you buy, on the panel and on the page. Whether that amount suits you is a judgement you get to make with the numbers in front of you.
Named in full, not by nickname The panel gives each active its full form and botanical source, not a marketing shorthand: β-nicotinamide mononucleotide, quercetin dihydrate extract from Sophora japonica, Polygonum cuspidatum root. Names you can look up. The amounts are listed in the FAQ too.

Transparency

The Supplement Facts panel, on every product page

Most brands bury it. Small text at the bottom, behind a tab, or only on the physical label once you have already paid. It is the one document that tells you exactly what you are buying, which is presumably why it gets hidden.

We put it openly on every product page. The reasoning is not complicated: if we wanted to hide our doses, we would not have built products with doses worth showing.

How we write

Editorial standards

Our Journal is built around primary research, clear attribution and conclusions that stay proportional to the evidence. These standards also guide our product education and evidence pages.

Sourced from primary research Health articles draw on peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews and guidance from bodies such as the NIH and FDA. Sources are cited so readers can inspect the underlying work.
Claims stay proportional to the evidence We distinguish established findings from early signals and keep product language within what the evidence and U.S. supplement rules support. "Clinically proven" is reserved for wording a specific study directly supports.
Key details are checked against the source Doses, study populations, durations and outcomes are checked against the underlying research where they matter to the conclusion. Product-related language is also checked against U.S. dietary supplement requirements.

Authorship and review are shown on the piece

Each article identifies its author. When a credentialed reviewer reviews a piece, their name, credentials and review date appear there too.
